Attitude watch hallmark with viper's head - Limited edition

Pequignet certifies this Attitude model with the Viper hallmark issued by the Observatory of Besançon (France). This exclusive piece is produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces.

The Observatory of Besançon, located in France, is one of three organizations worldwide authorized to issue the mechanical chronometer title under the Viper label. To obtain the Viper certification, the watches undergo testing for 16 days in 5 different positions and at 3 temperatures. Precision is measured in terms of seconds lost or gained per day, and it must not exceed −4 and +6 seconds per day. If the watch proves its ability to tell the most accurate time under demanding conditions, a hallmark representing a viper's head is stamped on the movement.

7 criteria are taken into account:

- Average rate over 24 hours
- Average variation in rates over the 5 control positions
- Greatest variation in rates between the 5 control positions
- Difference in rate between horizontal and vertical positions
- Greatest rate variation among the first 10 measurements
- Behavior at temperature (8°, 23°, 38°)
- Rate recovery

Each watch that meets all 7 criteria receives a rate certificate.

The Attitude watch is operated by Calibre Initial®, the third movement designed by the Manufacture Pequignet. It has a patented instant date jump and winding system. Much work has been done on the finish, such as its superb perforated oscillating weight visible in relief on the back of the watch. This exclusive calibre combines technicality, accuracy and reliability. Its advantages: its Calibre Initial® designed and manufactured in France and its 65 hour power reserve (weekend "proofed").

For your peace of mind, Pequignet watches are guaranteed for 3 or 5 years from the date of purchase: 5 years for models equipped with a Pequignet movement (Royale collection, Attitude, Extrême 300, Concorde) and 3 years for other automatic, manual or quartz models.

If you encounter a problem with your watch during the warranty period, you may count on our customer service and on our expert watchmakers to resolve the problem at no cost to you. This warranty applies to all the watches and covers all manufacturing defects in normal conditions of use. This warranty is effective only if the watch returned is accompanied by the warranty certificate, duly dated, signed and bearing the stamp of the retailer authorised to represent Pequignet. Each watch arriving at the Manufacture shall be the subject of an examination undertaken by our master watchmaker, in order to certify its condition.
